Native to the Indian subcontinent, from India to Afghanistan and from Sri Lanka to Bangladesh, Its anthropogenic spread is such that it has been listed as one of the world’s 100 most invasive species. In Europe it is present in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. (Wikipedia )
